Seen a few bits and pieces about live moss in enclosures, I was wondering how you would do this and maintain it, what benefits does it have for the snakes?
Also does anyone know anywhere to get any that is snake friendly within the UK.

Thanks All
:)

Oh sugar! Yeah that's what i meant haha was up a bit late last night and must of frazzled my brain.

that's not a bad price to be honest, may have to get some.

do you just mist it down inside the hide?

May have ordered the moss...... and a variety of other items :D

How much moss do you use or is it just personal preference?

Not much, I use just enough to cover the base of a medium snake cave http://www.bluelizardreptiles.co.uk/vivariumdecor/hidesandcaves/015561228466

That should give you an idea of what I do.

You can also use a Tupperware container half full of moss with a hole cut in it for the snake to enter instead of the snake cave (Humid hide)

Brilliant! Thank you for that :) , i've ordered from blue lizard reptiles :) Seems they do a great deal on frozen mice to so will stick with them for now.
