Artist and Album Please

Alright man how did you know that? Seriously that is an American hardcore band, although now that I think about it they did do a Europe tour or two.

I check out a lot of bands (myspace and such)
Cos of the transformer logo I recognized them quite quickly.
And hardcore does fit nicely in my playlist :)

When the band started in 1994 they held a regular club night.
The name of this club night was given to the second album.

This album had a single that was on the radio all of the time when I was 8. I remember my cousin playing the heck out of it and I didn't know what the song was about.
That song was written by someone that was not in the band, one of Time Magazine's picks for their "100 Most Important People of the Century"(20th century).

The group in question went through several name and lineup changes before and after this album, but all of the names had the keyboard player/founder's last name in them, and some had both his first and last names.

Mighty Garvey! - Mannfred Mann

Geez talk about hard to google! I knew right away the artist they did a cover of was Bob Dylan, but it still took me forever to find the band... so I'm guessing "Quinn the Eskimo" for the single..
