Spoiled is when she sleeps on the bed, under the covers with you--and pushes YOU out of bed .
My Pomeranians have been known to do that to Z!
That dog is an amazing beauty! Akita x Husky, huh? What's her temperament like? I'd love to find a dog like that for Z, someday. He lost his wolfdog (a brindle chow/shep/wolf mix) last year, and he dearly misses her.
Thanks Irish Eyes! She's an Akita/Husky/Malamute mix. We drove across 2 states to rescue her when she was 5-6 years. She's now 10-11. Her temperament is very low key...she's quite a hunter (very hard to dissuade her natural instinct there!) and she does not play nice with others. She's not a huggy, kissy, lovey kind of big dog (which is not my choice, lol), but she's extremely loyal...like velcro to me. I hope that helps.
And this big, floppy galoot is Max, our Border Collie mix whom we adopted from a rescue in January of 2000. He'll be 12 y/o in March, and he STILL thinks he's a puppy. And, no, he's NOT SPOILED, either :
Irish Eyes, Max is so handsome. I love tri color animals!
Susang, thanks! I don't quilt...you're SO observant! That blanket and pillow cover set was quilted my the Mister's sister. Bailey is just too cute with all those pillows...what a love!
Tina, your girl is gorgeous! I thought she was a white GSD, until I saw her face.
Irish, every one of those babies is adorable!
Susan, I love that pic!
Here's a few of my not-so-spoiled canines
