Not spoiled at all. xD

This is Rex. He is a Border Collie who loves the beach. We live a 2 hour drive from there, but on his 15th birthday last year, Z took the day off work, and we bundled up Rex and Hope, and took them to the beach so Rex could celebrate in style :).

Here is a pic of them before going onto the beach:

They played with the "throwie ball stick", aka The Chuck-It, until they were tired. Here's Rex waiting for Z to throw it yet again:

When lunch time came, we took them to McDonalds. Rex's favorite meal in the whole world is a McDix hamburger (no pickles, no onions), with ice cream for dessert.

Here he is, waiting in the drive-thru for his birthday lunch (Hope had the same thing):

And here he is, eating his ice cream. He likes to have it spoon fed to him one bite at a time :):

Then we went to a different beach and played for the rest of the day.

Nope. My dogs are NOT SPOILED!

p.s. When he turns 16 this year, we'll probably do the same again. He, like me, prefers going to the beach to anything else.

I <3 Rex, Irish! He's so precious! My GSD/Lab has that same look with the chuck-it. LOL
She is *obsessed* with tennis balls. She will drive me nuts, if she gets it in her head that it's time to play with the tennis balls, & it doens't matter what I'm doing.

Thank you, Heather. Rex is extremely special to us, and very precious. We count our blessings everyday. He's quite the ball-obsessed old guy, but Hope was even more so. She would run after balls until she went "blue tongue"--a term for working/herding dogs who don't know when to take a break--and we had to insist she take a break and cool down. Buncha goofs. In case you can't tell, we live and breathe for our dogs :).

Of course I can tell :)
I am the same way about my dogs.
All of your kids are lucky to have found you!

Here are some pics of my not spoiled rotten dogs. My 14 year old pom is also a "couch percher". She is always on the back of the couch in front of the window. Paco our male chichuahua will play fetch with his toys until you think your arm will fall off. We have blankets in the livingroom that are just for the dogs and it's a rule in the house that you do not sit or step on a blanket because 99.9 % of the time there is a dog in it.

First is Rosie my 9 year old pom/chichuahua mix

I know this isn't the greatest photo in terms of quality, but it makes me giggle.

I also have this one. My husband just emptied out this room to convert into the nursery, and Morgan (dog) figured it was his cue to move in. :p

Peanut even has "Here Kitty" clothes!

She is seriously bald, the only fur she has covers her front legs and across her shoulder blades. The people who bought her as a puppy abused, starved, and neglected her horribly. She had fleas so bad and scractched for so long that she damaged her hair follicals and hair will not grow now. So in the winter she has to have something on to help keep her warm or it's almost impossible to get her to go outside to pee. LOL My daughter does have other clothes for her that Peanut hates. :uhoh:

Charlie Bear Wooflington sleeps on my pillows. Whether my head is on them or not...

I don't have any pictures of my little baby Kinley being spoiled...that would mean I would have to move her off of me to get my camera..can't disturb the baby. BUT, I never turn down a time to show her off so I'll post pictures of her anyway. PS. I have ugly furniture and ugly walls...rental house.

Yes, she's allowed to sleep on the back of the couch.

The first three are Miss Prada the first three weeks she was with us; the last one is Miss Prada all grown up and still lounging where she pleases.

Thanks! She's working hard for me, too. We're training for a French Ring trial in May and she's doing phenomenal! She'll be a year old in March. BIIIGGGG pup :D
