congrats on your little baby eating....hope he keeps eating for you. i'm luck that my little baby Terra has eaten every time shes been offered food(and i hope the new baby i'm getting this weekend eats just as well)

Sorry to bring this post back up all but i just wanted to ask a few more questions and didn not want to do a whole new post.

We talked on the previous pag about moving my cornsnake into a new home a few days after feeding and you advised me to wait until next feed.Now i was going to do this but my thermostat has just come and i really want to put it in but if i am doing that and changing the substrate i might aswell do the whole thing ain't i.He ate on wednesday night and i was going to do the home change saturday does this seem long enough for him to digest before i move him :shrugs:

Lastly i am adding some wood to his new home am i right in thinking i have to do the things below.

remove all nasty looking bits on wood if any there
remove sharp edges
soak in a bleach solution
thoroughly wash with some boiling water and then with normal water
bake it
freeze it
then rinse and let dry
