So it's OK to have the heated areas switch off? Like from left to right during night and day? Because I have been wanting to get an extra light and put it on the left side of the cage and put them both on timers (my day light is on the right side). Right now I have an infrared light and a regular day light and have just been switching them out in the same lamp that sits on the right side. If I go somewhere overnight I don't wanna worry about switching lights so will it matter if I set it up the same way you have it?
 
Like will it mess with my snake to have them switch or will he just keep going on as usual and go to wherever he wants even if the heated area switches from the left side of the cage to the right?
 
The red bulb's are 25w bulbs which barely put out any heat at all. Sometimes I think making sure an appropriate hide area is available is more important than ambient temperatures. As always it's best to have a good gradient if possible though.
 
may i ask whats in the VERY top left tank? some kind of arboreal? GTP or ETB?

from what i can see it even looks kinda like a BP. but doesnt make senc with the perch in there.
