My new VIV please REPLY

Pasadome, Cant wait until the Cleveland show next month. Im trying to talk my wife into a butter (or other yellow morph) male. I have talked her into going and hope to bring one home with our micecicles. She LOVES snakes but will have to actually SEE it in person before she'll allow a third

Sorry if I missed it, but what sort of substrate is that? I like the natural look of it. How would you compare it to aspen? Thanks!

I think it's just stunning!
I forgot about that trick of using suction cups to hang plants up. I'll have to "copy" you and do that soon. Isn't it fun using things that are meant for different types of animals with a snake? I use a little fuzzy pyramid shaped thing that was meant for gerbils or something. My new baby spends all day hanging in it.

I've not been to the Cleveland show but have been to the Columbus show. The Columbus show is a monthly visit for mice... not always by me ... but I do go once in awhile.

I love the Caramel based morphs, which includes Butters. Hope you find your Butter and ... that your wife gives in.;)

BTW If you'd like to go to a large show, you should go to the North American Reptile Breeders Conference (NARBC) that is being held in Tinley, IL in Oct. It would only be a short trip for you.
You could, however, wind up leaving the NARBC with more than you might have planned on (Read- will power needed). :grin01:

I may end up at the Col show sometime in the near future. A good friend was a Cham breeder and goes a couple of times a year just to look. Ill be in Cleve next month and see whats there to offer. Thanks
The substrate is a mixture of Aspen and the coconut/reptibark brick
You cant see the aspen as I had just spot cleaned the viv and added a bit mor on top. I use it as I had 4 bricks of the stuff and didnt want to waste it
