My weekend getaway with Mrs. Thunderer!

Well, I won a weekend getaway to a resort in Scottsdale. We had a great time. I took some pics to share... nothing to get excited about, but hey, I did think of my friends at CS.com that I wanted to share with! LOL.

Here's one of me. I forgot my sunglasses in the car... so you can barely see my eyes. LOL.

Frankly, I don't know why this woman loves me...

Looks like you guys had a blast in Snotsdale! I'm thinking the exit signs are on the ground because, if there was a fire, smoke would fill the top of the hallway first...making a normal sign hard to see.

LOL. We get that quite a bit! A friend of ours also ACTS JUST LIKE her (although looks quite different). Her hubby and I call it "icky" that if we were blind, we wouldn't be able to tell the two apart. Thus her and the wife are the "Icky Twins". You should post a pic of your sister! LOL.

I wish my pics of the rivery area were better... I'll have to check my wife's camera! (GREAT IDEA, Fred!)

Thanks, Danielle! Funny that you ask. OUR kids went to my brother and a couple of very dear friends. MY oldest went with my brother who took him to a D-Backs game (they lost). My daughters and youngest son went to a couple of friends. They got to "slumber party" and all that. The other 9 "beasts"... we have a "relief" couple that come in to stay with and care for them. THANKS to the relief couple! LOL.

Yeah... we made some remarks about "snotsdale" too, but didn't allow it to mess up our time. I took LOTS of pics of some "animal art" in the store there and was told to STOP because the artwork is copyrighted... and not in a nice way. But that's okay. I can understand that. Just be NICER next time. LOL. I didn't post them because of my respect for the artists...

I knew that about the sign... Just thought it was funny at the time! I was like, "Gee... a sign at the right height... FOR ME!" LOL.

LOL... SHE SAYS, "If you were only like this more often!" LOL. I'm more on the serious side in mannerisms, but very JOVIAL internally. If that makes sense.
