need some help for a mate

thank yo zoologygirl i am working on getting more pix and a weight for him i dont have a phone or camera so it may be the morning like i said he does eat 7 to 10 days but will only eat 1 or 2 fuzzys at a feeding and want go up a size he has gained some weight just not enough . the person who gave him to me did not know his lines so not sure he has any het just thought i would let them know that or his age so he may be a 09 or a 10 no bc to let me know thank you for your help
 
I haven't seen the pic, but my '10 male is just about 3 feet in length, 200 grams (probably more now). Eating weanling mice every 7 days.
 
If he's only eating 1 or 2 fuzzies at a feed you should start feeding him every 5 days. 10 days is a maintenance timespan which results in little to no growth. Add in smaller-than-usual prey items and it's a recipe for a snake that is only going to get skinnier.
 
thank you shiari i have tried to feed him the bigger stuff and he regurges it but he eats his fuzzys but no more than 2 how many times a week will a corn eat i would feed him each day if he would eat but some times when it been 5 days he wont eat it sits in his cage all day then when i give him 1 later he eats but might not for a day or two longer been like this sense i got him the others eat just about any time some even when they shed and grow but not him not sure what his thing is but i thought as long as he is eating something he is going to be ok if you have any suggestions on how to get him to eat more im all ears thanks joe and sorry for being a jerk having a bad night
 
If he's a chronic regurger, he needs to go to the vet. Take a fecal sample with you, as he might have a heavy parasite load. Also get some nutribac to cover his food with.

I would suggest not just mice fuzzies but rat pinkies as well, and see if you get a better response out of him, his stomach is so small due to small prey items. You need to slowly increase his food intake. and every 5 days feed him. parasites can be a problem specially with snakes in his condition. Deworming would be recommended. Also he maybe nausea with bigger prey items because of going a long period without food. It will take months before that snake is of idea weight and would be ready to be sold.
 
i'll try to see if he will eat a rat pinkie not sure i will try the nutribac and see if i can get into the vet this week he only regurges the larger prey never the small not sure why he always poops and pees normal i would love for him to get bigger for his sake do you think he could be lonely he was in a cage with another snake when i got him ? thanks joe

I really hope he turns around for you, and snakes are solitary in nature and do not like to cohab in general. It can stress them out. He is better by himself.
