Never give up on eggs!

Fantastic!! I am so glad they're hatching!
I had a friend of mine who breeds corns and other critters tell me that taking a q-tip really gently to the egg will help remove mold. We had moldy leopard gecko eggs hatch just fine with that method.

I tried to beat the mold back with various methods, but it was in it to win this fight. Listerine, anti-fungal powder and dish soap just made the mold angry.

Teak, the amel, was in the egg I cleaned the most. It looked good the whole time. The other two were total surprises, especially Chain Saw. His egg looked awful.

Oh wow! Well done Fungus! :) Gratz on the first full success! :D Cant wait for the Chainsaw to come out and nice to have the 3rd one going! :)

Little update for the morning. Fungus is looking good and exploring his new baby tub. Chain Saw and Teak are still sitting in the eggs.

This morning I poked around with a light, and tried to candle a few of the remaining eggs. I think these three are going to be the only ones. All of the other eggs are either deflated to the point of flat, or filled with opaque white fluid. No more veins to be found.

I'm still just in awe that any babies, let alone three, were able to hatch from these eggs.

NATURE ROCKS!

I love this happy ending story, and I'm so glad that you got something positive out of a bad situation here. I will be hanging around to check for updates. :)

When I got home from work Chain Saw is out!

Such a sweet little baby. It gave me a half hearted tail rattle, then wove around my fingers.

This critter still has a big yolk belly.

Now just waiting on Teak to get with the program and move out of the egg.

He's a little sweet heart. No tail rattle or anything. He just coiled up in my hand like a happy critter.

I'm 100% sure none of the other eggs are going to do anything, but we are going to let them sit for 4 days, just to make sure.

YAY! I've actually been hoping they would all move out of their eggs soon! Sounds like they are all sweethearts, too. :)
