New arrival is HERE!!! (worrying myself silly need reasurance)

Cornsnake124

Country boy gone wild
The snake is HERE!!! looks good, will post pics later. But she doesn't move very much :( she just isn't moving fast... isn't exploring her cage, didn't go accross the floor, etc. She slithers through my hands some, but not very fast. is there something seriously wrong with her other than being cold? :shrugs:

I'm a bit worried... well, a little bit more than a little. :(

Cold, stressed, bumped about on the journey to her new home (will happen a bit, no matter how careful everyone is) and disorientated... generally, just dazed and confused!

She really just needs absolute peace and quiet for a few days to get over it. Pop her in her tank and leave her to explore, find the right temperature zone for her current needs and settle in. Try to resist the temptation to handle her for a week while she calms down and gets her bearings. Don't be surprised if she heads into a hide and stays there.

Don't panic - worry is completely normal!

How many snakes do you have now? What morph?

counting her and 2 escapees (let loose by small children) it would be 12

a snow, a normal het amel, amel het anery, a couple normals het snow, to amels het a couple things basically speaking a lot, some anerys het a lot of things, and the new arrival, an amel, to my eye MAYBE looks a little like a RO, but if she was she would be very low white, but she still looks a little like one...
