New Blizzard

^^ that shot should also be of their belly side, it's easier to see where the vent is and the tail starts from that angle. Girls have an even taper over the lenght of the tail, boys tails stay wide or even bulge out a little before tapering. It's a fun guessing game, but can be tricky to tell with little snakes.
 
well i would but the blizzard is a vicious little blighter, i was going to feed him today but wen i went to try and pick him up he bit me twice. hes very fast and im thinking a little too energetic for my likings....

is there any ways that you can slow a snake down in this instance, i know it might just be while he gets used to the new environment but i have never seen a snake this fast before.... i dont know how to describe it.... its kinda scary!

i think im gunna leave him a couple of weeks now before interacting but then i dont want it to get defensive and bite me everytime i go into his viv

i need ya help again guys please lol
 
He's scared, afraid your going to eat him. Its just going to take time and gentle handling for him to learn your not a predator; even with minimal handling they calm down a lot as they grow and their mind develops more.
 
fair does i think i will leave the handling of the blizzard to a minimal now then and feed him on top of his huge bark hide he should mature with age i think lol

and looking at sammis tale im thinking sammi is a female il try to gt a good pic tomro as its 3.35am atm should be a fun game lol
