Hey all, new member to the community. Not a new snake owner though. I currently have 3 corns.2 snows and one unknown I posted under the morph category. I also own a black rat snake, ball python, and red tail boa. Just wanted to introduce myself!

Eavlynn pics will be up ASAP. Only thing is it says pics must be 1024x1024 so its a bit of task! My phone seems do take MUCH bigger pics.

axis1 been great! Just got some awesome snakes. Hope all is with you! And thanks for the welcoming!

No it doesn't say pics must be that size, it says they can not be "Bigger" than that size. As long as you post smaller pics than 1024 all will be well.

I resize all my pics to 1000 to make sure I'm under the limit.

If your using an iPhone, the easiest way is to email the pictures to your self and it will tell you to select a size and just pick medium that's the 1024x1024

That's what I do but I'm almost positive that there's an easier way. Problem is that there just isn't enough time in a day! (My problem, that is.).

Someone recently posted a link to an app at, where else? photo-resize.com

Go figure. Still haven't tried it so I can't offer a review. Sorry. :shrugs:

DollysMom posted that link. I have it, but haven't had a chance to try it yet, either. I just finished my school duties for now and am getting caught up on things in the house. I'm actually taking a break from shifting my snakelings to the cellar because the rewiring in their room/my office is done and it needs to be painted. I'm afraid of the fumes/new paint smell near them.

Thanks DLena, but won't take credit that isn't due. That was someone else. Don't know who or I'd give credit.

Funny thing is you can upload to your album here and they will automagically resize. Then you can link to them. There many ways to do it, but most of them are multi-step.

So I can take pictures with my phone, upload them to albums in my profile, then post them? So I could make a folder for each snake and keep my pictures there forever and don't have to do anything special to size them?

Ken gave the link and you thanked him. Then I screen shot it (new skill for me) and got part of his post and part of yours, hence my confusion. THANKS KEN! :crazy02:

I still always use Imgur for pretty much everything. I upload 4k resolution photos there and can post them on a whim here at 800px wide in seconds. Forum attachments are garbage on PC, always resizing things way too small and crapping on the quality, since there's only so much server space. Using Imgur resized links leaves the original image intact and never deletes it.

Do you have beginner steps for how to do that? I'm a weak link when it. One's to technology.

Every time I think about making a visual guide, they change some minor thing in their layout lol. I'll get around to posting a guide one of these days.
