Boo!'s Mummy
Hi all,

I have had my baby corn, called Boo! about 3 weeks now and he is really happy and healthy. I just have one Q..... what is he??!!!

When we bought him, we were told he was a carolina... but I am not so sure.

Anyone know what breed of corn he is? (This isn't him but he is EXACTLY the same)

Looks like a normal to me...

This is my 04 hatchling...But mine is just a little bit brighter than yours. Although I could be wrong. i am sure that there are others here that could tell you if I am wrong.

I wouldn't say that a normal corn is a carolina corn...unless it is a locality caught specimin. The carolinas (North and South, here in the states) do have wild corns roaming around.

When we say normal, we are refering to the color phase being red and orange, with black borders around the red saddles.

You are very welcome. Oh, and Welcome to the forum. Stay a while...Hands wyldkat a drink...

There is a world of info here and a lot of very friendly people. A couple that I am sure you will hear a lot from are: CAV, Quigs, and me. The three of us bicker back and forth at times, but it is just harmless banter.

I wasn't saying that I would stick up for you. I was just letting you know some of the bigger names out there that I am sure you will come in contact with.

Quigs sends out the CAV signal...

I think Paul is trying to set us up again. He welcomes all the newbies real fast and then kicks our names in the mud! Pfft!

Welcome!

This is a great place to learn everything you'll need to know to take care of your little snake. btw, pcar I love your snake! How old is he? beautiful!

Welcome Wyldkat!

Try not to pay too much attention to Quigs, CAV and pcar when they're not talking corns. There is a sort of love triangle going on between them. But when they DO talk corns, listen.

You know, Some poeple would take this kind of abuse the wrong way. Don't feel left out Susan. We did offer to include you.

Man, I get defamed even when I'm not on the forum and keeping my mouth shut!

Actually it is more likely "snake envy" that a love triangle.

Paul, did you get her settled in last night?

yup. Got her home and into a nice viv. I will be stopping on the way home to pick up some adult feeders for her as I have run out. Need to make an order online for some. Thanks again.

My Wife says hi and thanks too. marlene picked up the new snake and held her for about an hour last night just admiring the coloration. It is amazing how different even two snows can be.

Thanks again.
