New to all of this

Ok well, if blood red is a more exotic morph, then it would make sense if they were harder to feed because I also heard that more exotic (exotic may be the wrong word) morphs have more health problems, which makes sense because there would have been a lot of breeding involved to acquire exotic morphs.

You keep saying "That's what I heard....."

Exactly where do you keep hearing this garbage? And why would you join a corn snake forum and then argue this crap with dozens of people that already know how to raise a snake properly?

The natural Dog's are the wolves. So by your logic, the more exotic morphs like a Beagle or a Rottweiler are going to give you feeding problems right?

There are people that are truly ignorant, and then there are people that just get a kick visiting message boards on the internet and trying to stir up crap. They are called internet trolls. I haven't figured out which one you are ........ yet.

But if you really are serious about keeping a pet snake, then you really need to stop listening to the people that keep telling you this nonsense, and you really need to study up on keeping pet snakes. Otherwise (I'll go on record right now) your poor snake is doomed. I'll remind you of this in a few days or weeks when you're telling us about your sick snake or your dead snake.

Any corn you don't get directly from a breeder (especially at any of the big box stores) likely was shipped at some point. It's extremely rare for them to have any problems at all, as long as it's done properly. I'm even having a hatchling shipped from the UK this spring.

Where are you getting your Snake from? where did you order it from?

What is the best Thermometer and Hygrometer to keep track of snakes tank?
Just wondering too, what would you do if your power went out for a snake?

Mine is near a window just to recognize the difference between night and day. They really don't like light and hide away from it.

I use a small amount of eco-friendly dish soap when I do a full clean to help scrub any poop off non-porous surfaces, but yeah vinegar is great to sanitize.
