I think my grand-daughter is really enjoying this. Why can't we have some snow substrate and artifical igloo hide. Also artificial plants.:santa:

I love the idea of an igloo and fake snow! I'm making plans for Boz's viv..... snow corn, snow flakes, snow globe, holly and fake pine garland....

And as far as the whole Autumn/Fall/Yankee/Southern thing goes, well......I was born in Kentucky, which is officially south of the Mason-Dixon line, though the Mississippi folks don't claim it as southern. I was raised in Indiana, which is technically Yankee territory. I currently live on the Mississippi coast, which is a southern area, but apparently one's family must have lived here in the antebellum years before one can be "from" the area.

My welcome to the state included a statement from a colleague that "good Yankees come and leave their money, then go back up North. D---- yankees come and stay." Ah, but most Southerners are indeed hospitable, thankfully. My favorite places include the Black Hills of South Dakota and New York City. I guess I'm a topographical mutt-case, and I often call it Fall too, y'all. :) (cursed dial-up won't let me do smilies)

Oh no. What have I started!:sidestep: :)

Great set-up, Devilscat12! Autumn's my favourite season. Not too hot, not too cold and no hayfever! :D

Yankees (them up north) call it Autum. . . . . Us Southerners call it Fall

:grin01::grin01::grin01:

Kind of like how in the south, you call it "grits", and up here in the north, we call it "paste". ;)

jazz

(btw, I LOVE grits)

Winter, spring, summer or FALL
all you have to do is call...
;)
I seriously have never heard anybody use 'autumn' for this season before in Oregon or California, the two places I have lived.

Thanx for everyone's help so far. I might get comfortable enough at this to go into breeding one day. If not, I'll just enjoy the ones I keep for their ability to keep my blood pressure under control . . . . funny how the one I have now seem to be able to do that.

Yesterday when my gramma picked Turok up and he was in attack mode.:madeuce: While she was going to let him move from hand to hand he turned around with his mouth open and bite her.:crying: He did not eat at last feeding. He was hungry. 8 days since he ate. So we decided to feed him.:sidestep: Put him in a large container and he struck at his pinkie 5 times.:devil01: Then he struck with mouth wide open. He ate it. :grin01: Still in strike when put back in his cage.:dgrin: I sure hope he calms down so I can handle him.:headbang:
