new to snakes

cornaddict

One is never enough!
I got my first corn snake in January then my Dad claimed it as his so I got mine this week--you have seen him already from my Mom's (4riscorn) posts--Kapatcho- Caramel corn. I was always on here with her and then got my own username so I can ask questions and get tips from everyone too.:dancer:

Well welcome! I'm newish, too. My daughter is 9 and addicted to snakes, too, so you're in good company!

Welcome! It's nice to see young people getting into keeping snakes with the support of their parents!

Welcome young grass hopper :D Stay interested, don't pay attention to girls, snakes are so much cooler!

Welcome! Its nice to see you here!

My son (TnTme <<will be 10 next week) is also a member here. I seem to have taken over his corn as well. I'm sure he will want to come on here and say hi to you later.

Welcome to the forum! (I posted on the other family thread, too.) I have a lot of caramel-based morphs, and I'm sure you'll enjoy Kapatcho.

Actually, you do have an albino. In our world, we refer to them as amelanistic(lacking black pigmentation), or amel for short. What you are thinking is that a white snake is albino. In corn snakes, that is called a snow corn. Snows are a combination of amelinism and anerythrism(lacking red pigmentation). Take out the red and black pigments and you have a white snake, sort of. Anyways, I won't confuse you anymore. Welcome to the forum and enjoy the wealth of info available.
