Normal Prices

Snakes and more Snakes
Well I been doing some thinking, and I have a pair of normals. I have no plans in breeding them at the time being and I been thinking about possibly selling them locally. Snakes go fast around here surprisingly every snake for sale I call on has been sold within hrs. So I was wondering what people sell breeder size normals for? I purchased them last year for 15 and they both are breedable next year. Any suggested prices? Im not looking to make money off them just they are taking up space that may be valuable next spring!

Adult male normals are essentially worthless, but a breedable female of any morph (or no morph in this case) is still worth some money. Maybe $125 for the pair?

If they have no known hets and are essentially purely normals, and are unproven breeders you won't get much.

I would suggest trying to maybe donate them to a local school or something like that. Many schools here in the local district are homes to some of the snakes I've produced over the years. They make great educational tools for the youngsters. And I have no problem giving them away as (I believe) that they go to a good purpose.

If they are 2004s and of decent size I would think about $20-$25 . Thats what I would ask for them if I brought them to a show. Yearling cornsnakes are about the best starter snakes anyone can get if you ask me.

Got my normal male for $60, and although I have no plans for breeding, he was big enough when I got him.

Also, you should maybe take into consideration if it's het for anything

damn I miss the "edit" button
