OOPS! I got eggs

Is it illegal to sell corns to Canada from the US? Or do you need a special license etc? Just curious. I know when I sold feeders (bugs), unfortunately I couldnt sell to Canada, but a few people (larger scale ones) could?! Thanks, LM

Good luck with your eggs... I hope this turns out to be an awesome experience for you... :) I used to keep my snakes together until one got away... I then joined this forum and realized that I should not have kept them together at all... Now I have more snakes and definetely more terrariums and tubs... They will be happier and healthier in there own individual homes...

I don't think you need a license to sell to Canada... But I'm not sure. I bought my normal corn from Petland for 100$ plus I get a discount though because I work there... But I've phoned every pet store in the city and everywhere has just normal corns for around 140$.
Generally they are a little cheaper from breeders.
When we have reptile expo's, you American folk should come down here... You could make a killing selling your snakes!
The funny thing is, they are not that rare here. Almost every pet store has them... I'm not sure what makes them so expensive. :S

Just to let you know, yes you do need a license to sell to Canada, or at least to get them out of the country. (Have to contact the Fauna something to get it, not sure of the name, I only had it in french, and it's been a while since I last checked that info). It's true that the pet stores sells the corns for a lot of money here, (paid my regular one 120$) but we do have breeders that are more affordable (Wyz, for example...) Canada seems to be a bit behind as of the different colors we have. We do have lavender, but bloodred, for example, seems to be inexistent here.

Well that's good to know. Thanks for the info. And yes, selection seems to be limited as to colours and such.
That's too bad.
