Petstore using dirt substrate

I use the coconut husk in my set-up for my corn. I would really like to know which is the best substrate. We haven't gotten a chance to set up the permenent tank for him, we just moved and not sure where our tank is. I am not too sure how old he is either, i forgot to ask he has shed his skin once already. He was the biggest of the three that were there.

The best bedding is aspen shavings, don't use pine. If you go to any large corn breeder they will have a whole bunch of helpful tips.
