Once you've thawed a pinky, you shouldn't re-freeze it. They go bad far too quickly.
Search, and search again for your little one. Having recently eaten, he's probably just curled up someplace and not moving around too much. Look closest to his viv, searching every crack and crevice, then start searching outward, in and under everything. Don't forget to look high as well as low. And just to make sure...you thoroughly double checked every hiding place in his viv? It's happened before that a snake got "lost" in it's viv, hiding under the substrate or in part of the decoration.
