Progression time!

Figured I start a progression thread. I have a classic stripe and a granite. Neither have names, so I'm open to suggestions ;)

Here's when I first got them.

And some from today-about 3wks after the first ones.

Question, I'm looking at getting a pvc cage with a divider for these guys. How should I arrange the uth? Like one on either end or just a big one in the middle?

Today was weigh in day! My granite weighed in at 10 grams and my stripe at 9 grams! Woo!! And my stripe (who have having a really bad she'd) got another shed-aid warm soak. All that's left is for the eye caps to come off!! Yay!!

Sarah your stripe has a lot of stuck shed on it, right around/on the head. You may want to add a humidity chamber to their enclosures, or increase the waterdish size and cover up part of their cage tops to keep some humidity in.

That's ok. :) I got her from the petco I work at. She's been having a pretty hard time with this shed, but with several warm soaks later, all that's left is a bit on her head and those stubborn eye caps. Hopefully they'll come off soon. But other than that they are happy n healthy, eating n gaining weight :)

Been thinking of some names. Not sure yet still. But for my female granite, either aurora or Ashton and then for my male stripe maybe Blaine or Merlin. What do you guys think?

Well today was suppose to be a feeding day, but both my lil worms are shedding. Blaine, my striped boy went from one shed straight into another(is that normal?) And Ashton my granite girl was blue the other day but today she cleared up. So she should be shedding any day. So instead of pinkies, they both got a warm soak lol

I'm not 100% sure because these aren't the greatest pics, but I don't think that's a granite. If it IS a bloodred/diffused (clear belly) then it looks more like a pewter to me. The eyes are really dark and there is very low contrast between the ground and the saddles. Darker grey and everything. I think charcoal is in the mix there.

Well she does have a clear belly, she has grey eyes with black pupils and she is diffused. When I was looking at Ivan's site of color morphs, she looked more like a granite than a pewter. She's about to shed, so I'll try n get some good pics of her post shed

It's Eco earth mixed with reptibark. I've heard of other people using it, is it not a safe substrate? They were both having a difficult shed, even with warm shed-aid soaks. I gave them a soak before they went into their new home and within a hour they both got all of their remaining shed off. :)

Great substrate I'd say, other than the fact that I'm not crazy about reptibark but it looks like you feed in a different tub anyway. That pic just looks kinda greens so it threw me off as to what it was as well.

Yea, the pics are from my iPhone with the auto enhance. So, not the best pics :(
