Now that I'm thinking about it, the green could be from the background? I have a green forest background. So maybe when I took the pic it cast a green glow on the brown bedding?

Could be. I use eco earth in my amazons and dumerils boa vivs. I love the stuff for the most part. I don't really even need to clean the poop from my amazons, it disintegrates in that stuff. Good thing too, they get a bead on me the minute I open their doors.

So I weighed the worms today. Blaine(stripe) weighed in at 10 grams and Ashton(granite) weighed in at 9 grams. I've had them for about a month now but they don't seem to be putting on weight. They've just gone back n forth a gram or two. I always weigh in half way to next feeding. They both get a pink every 4-5 days-except when they were in shed. Should I be worried about their weight? I was told they should gain about 2 grams per month.

It was pinkie time today! They sure are growing! Ashton's been a lil pain lately tho. She keeps making it over the divider and into Blaine's side of the viv! Guess she really likes her buddy lol!

Man...have a friend from work watching my snakes while I'm away for career training and found out today that Both of my snakes escaped and are missing in his apartment! I have never had a reptile escape in the few years I have had them, he has them for a week and they both go missing! I'm so upset I don't know what to do! :,(

Oh no! How long have they been missing? Is he sure they are missing and not hidden in the bedding ~ like did he leave the lid open accidently? I would put the blue painters tape down all along the floor boards as they tend to hug the walls. I know there is a bottle trap people use, I've never done it so you might need to do a search on here for that.
here is a recent link with some good suggestions

Thanks a bunches for the info! As far as I know, they have only been missing a day so hopefully they didn't go to far. I'm just worried cuz it's still cold outside and they are still pretty small. They're only around 15 grams

Well, Blaine-stripe male, was found today. Ashton, my grey female with a bad attitude, is still missing :/ I hope she's found soon.

Yay! My female, Ashton, was found tonight!! She must have gotten hungry during her adventure cuz she was found gliding across the kitchen counter LOL

Sad news...Ashton died shortly after being found. She was out n about for about a week n a half and when my friend found her, he immediately fed her instead of letting her warm up first. So she died about two days later. :,(
