Hiya! A first time snake owner. I'm not sure if this is the right forum page to ask/post this, but I've got a question about my young little corn, Leeroy's, shed.
(Sorry if the photos are not the greatest quality, only have a phone)
This is his second time shedding, the first time went smoothly, but this one he's missing an eye cap and his whole head.
He did just shed about 20 minutes ago and I actually had a chance to watch him do so!
Right after he was done shedding, I picked up his shed and as looking at it and noticed there was no head skin, only 1 eye cap came off.
The strange thing is, I picked him up but it looked like it was a complete shed, no extra layer of skin or anything, looked like he shed in once piece.
I guess the main point of this post is if that piece of skin is still on him, would it do any damage or get in the way of his next shed or growing of any sort?
I'm sure he'll be fine, I guess I'm just a worrying first time owner >.<
Thanks!
