Well I live near Hellsgate Canyon, people take boat trips down there all the time, none come back with burns.

I can see it now.

"Yeah, I went to Hell and I brought Satan home in a hand basket and now he lives in a plastic bin in my living room..."

Incompatible. Can't love everyone but be willing to send them to eternal torment and agony.

I love my Uncle David. He's also an egotistical snob that I can't stand. I would never send him to something like hell.

I love him. I hate his attitude. Still not causing immeasurable anguish.

Once more, I'm nicer than God! WOOHOO!

Not incompatible whatsoever. I suppose I should clarify further. God has a general love for all of his creation, which includes all people. However, He loves Christians in a different way than non-christians. We have a personal relationship with Him. We have acknowledged his unconditional love for us and we give thanks to Him.

God gives us free will. He will not force us to love Him as He loves us. If we deny Him and choose not to have a relationship with Him, we will suffer the consequences. Whether or not you think that is "nice", it is the truth.

Besides your little book, how do we know he's real? I mean I could write a book about a turd, and call it god. That doesn't make it real?

Soooo... Your god is a jerk. Got it. I figured that out by the time I was 13.

My dog has free will. He often denies what I ask of him, and chooses to not have a relationship with me.

I do not beat him mercilessly.

I am more benevolent and loving than God.

Ye have not chosen me, but bI have chosen you, and cordained you, that ye should go and dbring forth fruit, John 15:16 how's that for free will

"You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways"
~Gregory House

Ah tangable faith

I prefer science, because I have evidence and proof. I don't have a trust issue, I just got past imaginary friends.....

Evolution is a religion where people act, smell and act like monkeys. And being on a reptile forum listen up. Dinosaurs are reptiles. Before Noah's flood Christ allowed man and beast to live 900 plus years. Reptiles never stop growing, so a 900 year old reptile would be a be biggun.
