All I gotta say is... WOW. I wish I would have stayed on long enough last night to see this. A very sincere thank you to everyone who defended me, even though at times I know I don't necessarily deserve it.

I would like to note that my previous post had been intended as lighthearted and for a bit of a laugh. For those who couldn't see that, I'm sorry. I should have put a smiley. My main issue was not with the Stars having a difference of opinion with Rich, but coming on his retirement thread on his site and taking a cheap shot at a man FAR his superior in life experience with no knowledge of the situation in which it happened. Could I have just said that? Yeah, but I preferred to go for the chuckle to lighten the mood. I'm glad at least a few people understood the intention of the post!

Again, thank you everyone. I wish I could rep all of you, but it says I have to spread it around before I can get to you again. So in a few days, there'll definitely be some coming your way!

FYI I don't have anything against robbie or his enthusiasm to this site, neither his compulsion to write nor his compulsion to enter every discussion but I have something against unqualified and getting personal postings and the posting I quoted from robbie was 100% unqualified. Nothing more I tried to say with my sarcastic posting. Now, I see that some people have more liberties than others. sad but true. I hadn't realized that before but thanks to everyone who opened my eyes. I won't comment such rude postings in the future.

not everyone is born as a native english speaker so I think there's no need to explain why I don't have collected a few thousands postings in the past. the language barrier for non-native speakers is bigger than you suspect.

I am very much against poisoning. What if your dog ate a rat that you had poisoned? I rescued a bunch of rats that had gotten outside and started breeding like rats do. Apparently, people tried to poison them. What ended up happening is their pet cats, dogs, and a bunch of birds of prey started dieing. Then, other animals like raccoons would come and eat the remains and they would die. I say shoot away, train your animals to kill them, trap them, but no poisoning. I have had rats in my kitchen before. I trapped them, released them in the middle of nowhere, and now they are no longer a problem. But once again, I have another roaming around and have the trap out again. So, even if you poison them it wont stop more from coming anyway. I just do what I can.

I don't really enjoy poisoning anything, but it is but one of the tools needed to accomplish the eradication of the vermin damaging my propery. I put the poison under the hoods of the vehicles in places that ONLY something intent in getting there in the first place will find and eat. Once I had a mouse die inside the A/C heater ductwork of my vette. It had fallen into the fan itself, which threw it out of balance and made one heck of a noise. Not to mention the odor. As it turns out, I got it out of the just in the nick of time before all the flies started hatching out of the coccoons that were in there. Now THAT would have been pretty gross having all those flies inside the car... Pictures are down at the bottom of this post.

As for the rats or mice going back out into the woods and being eaten by something else that might die, well I do regret that, but that won't save the vermin from my wanting to poison them anyway. In many cases, poisoning is the only realistic solution for this problem. So I just have to do what I have to do.

Erm, I speak Hebrew as a native tongue, it certainly isn't my native tongue... it doesn't really stop me from managing along though. I don't consider myself better than you either so I suspect you're not less capable- it's a matter of choice.
You also seem to be able to articulate yourself well enough...
Regardless though, I think you could have put the effort you say it took you to overcome said barrier to more use if your reply wasn't so full of criticism against Robbie. Criticism which you wielded with much proficiency.

I've got nothing against you, but now saying that you weren't criticizing Robbie doesn't add up. If you want to take responsibility for your words, simply apologize and be done with it...

That's my opinion anyways.
