Just curious, what did you find caused or improved the regurgitation of your reverse? I've never had a problem before and been keeping snakes for nearly 50 years, but I have several giving it back AFTER 2-3 days....none are related, all under 1 year old and obtained within a 6 months of each other, some hatchlings, most 3 - 4 months old...

I actually don't know why. I have a feeling it was because the prey item was too big. He hasn't had a problem since and none of my other 11 have. I fed him conservatively though for a while which is why he is significantly smaller than my other yearlings. Did you add any new snakes lately? What are your temps? Do you have cats or other pets that might be bothering them? Do you feed inside the cage or out side and if so, do you share feeding containers?

I've been adding a few over the last few months, a total of 9 new ones, and two I hatched and kept. I always feed in individual containers, but I never marked the containers for who had been in them last and only put that snake back in the same container purposely. I've changed that. Yes we have cats, but I've never seen them bother them in the least, though just the sight of them could be a bother...temps are good - 75 - 85 degrees most all the time in their cages, with warmer and cooler areas, and never dipping below that for more than a couple hours, never below 70... I'm starting to believe it's stress, and not waiting long enough between regurges before trying again....maybe.... I have pretty much believed that if it's not too hard for them to get it down, it's not too big, and 3 or four days later? I've changed a LOT of things (being VERY careful with water dished, hides, and cleaning protocols, taken the most prolific upchucker to the vet; tested for crypto, came back negative, which doesn't necessarily mean doesn't have, but since being at the vet for 10 days, eating 3 times there, not giving anything back, and gaining weight, we're both pretty sure it's not crypto - THANK GOD!!

OK, just wondering if there was anything overt you did or didn't do... Thanks!!

As promised, a few pictures of Antonius. His adult colors are really coming in. The yellows between his saddles are spreading and the white is far less translucent than it used to be. He's doing well. Haven't had any other issues since the regurge. Even after many a shed, he's still missing a scale on top of his head (lost it due to a bad shed about a year ago). Anyone know if it will ever grow back?
