Congrats on the second clutch! Hope those, that look good, are fertile.
Mom & dad are a couple of good looking snakes.:)

Thanks, I just got done feeding Rose, she ate two hoppers for me tonight, so thats good, she'll need it when she goes into shed again soon. I'm thinking that none of the second clutch are actually fertile. I checked again today to see if i might be able to see any veins in them more then what I thought I saw yesturday but can't really distiguish any yet. I'll keep them in the incubator for a week or so just in case though.

Kasper is the only one I didn't get from Petco or the Mall pet store here in Bloomington, he's my Silver Queen Ghost I got from the Mid-West Reptile show in Indy back in 2009. He's almost 2 yrs old now. He's my fiestiest one that I have and the most jumpy and skittish for some reason...although he usually settles down once you are holding him. Feeding time is crazy with him...it's hilarious..when I have the frozen mice in the container full of water, Kasper is all over the place, just going nuts in his enclosure. It's funny.

I wonder what these babies are going to look like? I went to Petsmart today to see if they would buy any of my babies from me but the guy said no, they can't do that, they can only take em from their suppliers they already have. So, sometime this week I might try Petco or something but then again, they will probably say the same thing.

Cmalchow, Rose is a normla/classic (no known hets) and Kasper is a Silver Queen Ghost Corn, don't know if he can be het for anything...can't wait to see some noses poking out of the eggs though...

Well, it's technically day 58 now, more and more of the eggs are starting to discolor for some reason, or look bruised greyish/blue color and two or three look like they are turning moldy in spots. Most have the starburst shapes on them and on a few there are 2 or more of them on the eggs. I'm hoping it just means they are getting ready to hatch in the next few days and not that they are dying on me for some reason.

It is normal for them to develop "windows" right before they hatch. What does your incubation box smell like?

I wouldn't get your hopes up to much. Everyones clutches that I guessed on ended up being wrong this year. But hey they there is a first for everything right?!? :D

Always! I checked on them again tonight and saw no visiual difference in the shells textures or how they looked in general...but some had more starburst shapes on them then they did a couple of days ago, if that means anything, I don't know really. Some did feel like they had more give/bounce in them when I touched them , others felt more firm. Maybe that's a start.

I decided to switch and transfer the eggs into a smaller container with different medium then what they were on before and to put them in the incubator with a tight fitting lid. The humidity before switcihing contianers was up 99% and thought that it was to high and finally switched things around to lower it, the humidity now is 88% which I think is better although that is for the outside container humidity level since the container is smaller I couldn't put the thermometer/hydrometer in it with the eggs, cause there was no room for it. So I am hoping it's not to dry in the egg container, and that the temps are still around 84 degrees. X-my fingers that they will start to hatch soon.

Well, it's now 62 days and still nothing. It should really be any day now, it's been 6 days since she laid her second clutch of eggs, so I know it should be soon.
