Safe to feed on paper towel?

Hopefully this will be informative to people everywhere. People chose to feed off substrate so that their animal does not consume substrate. So they use newspaper or paper towels. As we've seen here, who's to say they won't consume some of that as well.

We've always feed in unlined containers (delicups, shoe boxes, large rubbermaids)

Its a sad story with a very hard ending.

You're right though, people will take something from it. I've always fed my adults in unlined tubs but the hatchlings always had a piece of kitchen paper on the bottom of their (far smaller) feeder tubs.

Not any more ....
 
This was a very informative post, I am so sorry for your loss... I too, wont ever feed my corns on paper towels again.
