Oh, I wasn't trying to be a tease! I'm simply not finished with the picture just yet. I havn't had time to work on it. Here is where it is currently at. Not moving fast at all. I think I highlighted too many scales, so I might tone it down a bit :shrugs:

Yeah I wouldnt worry about the individual scales, your not close enough to really see them, and unless they are really keeled they dont show an indiviual highlight :D Very cool. I like it this far
 
Sorry, just found this thread.

For the record, if you submitted a digital photo of it, yes, it would have been enterable. Lovely painting. I like the color scheme and the idea. :D
