Shazam, Solstice & Eclipse - Black Milksnake Progression Thread

I can't wait to see Solstice after she sheds! I'm excited to see the progression of these snakes as they lose their colors, too. They're so pretty!

Fred, I think you're unintentionally persuading me to make one of these milks my next snake.. Choices!

They are beauties and it's nice that you put them all on the same thread, it will be good to see them all progress together! Thank you for sharing :)
Thanks, Sue! I figure we'd see all the subtle differences easier if they were on one thread as opposed to 3. LOL.

Unintentionally? Since you first came aboard, you KNOW I am actively persuading you, Katie! BTW, long time no see! Hope you and Sheldon are well!

They're so beautiful. Want!
Thanks bunches! And you should ACT on that want! :D

We are doing well, busy with school, snakes, dogs and a new house! We've been pretty quiet around here, lately.

So Shazam and Solstice are siblings? It's crazy how she's progressing so quickly and his colors are still so vivid. I love both stages though; the colors are stunning and then the glossy black is just as gorgeous, if not more so. I should have known this was your plan all along! ;) Regardless, it's working!

I'm not going to fight it... either she'll buy one or I will! I love the black milks, they are simply a stunning snake and I would love to have one in our little collection.

We have been so busy these past few weeks between the move, work, and school. On top of that our youngest (Kriger) earned his Police Dog 1 title this past weekend. Needless to say we are some proud parents. All the countless hours of training payed off and now moving on to even higher levels so wish us luck!

I'm glad you're both doing well! And I'm glad I'm doing well also! ;)

Wow... didn't realize ya'll were moving. Glad to hear about Kriger! Of course, I wish ALL of you well and the best of luck!

Let me know when you get your black milk, K! :p

They are beautiful Fred! That is the only snake on my list of must haves. I haven't seen one at our local show yet, but hoping one day someone there will have some for sale.

Can't wait to see more pics of your beauties. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Great to see all three gorgeous black milks! Looking forwards to watching them progress through your camera lens!

Thanks a bunch! I'll be sure to keep posting pics. I know you've wanted one for a LONG while now. I certainly hope you find one. You won't be sorry. :)

Awww, thanks J9!

One thing of note... my 5 year old son KNEW what Eclipse and Solstice were from my previous conversations with him about Shazam. LOL. He goes... "Those look like Shazam, just darker. They must be milk snakes!" So I think I'm doing a decent job with him and my youngest daughter Amberly. LOL.

Solstice - Post Shed Pics 10/07/2009

Wow! I can't believe how melanistic they look during shed. I'd really like to see some post shed pics for the difference!

Hey Fred! You have some gorgeous little snakeys there! I am so impressed! I would love to see Solstice when she is not blue any more!

Nice beauties!!

Wayne

Sweet! I can't wait to see them. I don't know much about the them, but didn't realize they could be so dark.
Well, as promised, here are the pics of both Eclipse and Solstice AFTER shed... I took them last week, but waited until after the "Server change" before posting them. Here we go!

Eclipse - Post Shed - 10/05/2009

Here are some pics of Eclipse after he shed. He's much more colorful than his future mate, but still darker than Shazam. :)

I have some OUTSIDE pics of him after shed... but I can't find them right now. I'll post them when I find them. LOL.

They are looking wonderful, Fred! I loved that first picture of Solstice coming out of the pumpkin. :D
