Should I be worried (late unintentional breeding)

If your snake doesn't mind it, swimming in tepid water and the subsequent attempts to escape the bathtub are also pretty good exercise. I'm with Dean. No snakes are going on my bed. But the guest bathtub, which can be washed out with bleach if there's any excrement, works just fine for me.

Ok, I had Ruby out tonight for some exercise and just see how she's doing. I decided to check to see how much she had gained from her last feeding 5 days ago. She went from 280 grams to 310 grams. Does that seem like a lot? She did eat more than she usually does. But I know the mouse didn't weigh that much. lol Just curious. Thanks!

That's alot. Are you sure your scale is accurate? Glad she's recovering nicely though. I'd feed her well just in case she double clutches.

Well, it's a digital scale and it is supposed to be accurate as low as 2 grams. But I could have also not did it correctly the other day and maybe she was more than I thought. But I know this time I tried it three times and it came out the same each time. I'll check again in a couple of days and see what it comes out to. I have been doing some traveling lately and haven't been home much lately. But my close friend is keeping an eye on them and giving Ruby her exercise. :)

Thanks!

Update

Sorry for the late update, but I can gladly say that my girl didn't get knocked up. :) She never showed any signs and has just been her usual lovely self. Which is great as I myself wasn't ready for babies and I don't think she was either. But maybe by next year or the year after both of us will be ready and we can give it a go. But if not I'll still enjoy her and my other snakes.

Just wanted to give an update. Oh and the bf is still around and has been forgiven.

Thanks!

Good news! Glad to hear she's not pregnant...although I'm not sure I'd forgive the beau!
