Sigyn is now a little over a year old. I've had mean snakes before but all have calmed down with handling. She is my only exception! She is in a constant pissy mood it seems lol. She always strikes when I open her cage but very rarely bites. Not a snake I would let noobs handle for sure. She remains jumpy and always looking for a chance to escape while handling. So I'm surprised she set still as long as she did for this photo session!
Wow she is a beautiful girl you have the colors are awesome I say she looks like a Hypo looking back when she was young she looks just like my male corn he is a hypo.
I noticed that I haven't taken any belly shots for a while. So I tried today and pretty much failed. Sigyn is such a moody girl. She absolutely hates being held and she tried everything in her power to make taking pictures of her belly as hard as possible. I even had her in a clear contain trying to take a picture from the bottom and she was clinging to the sides so I couldn't see her belly lol.
Anway here is what I managed to get. She has kind of weird checkers. Her neck area is white with yellow checkers. Then the white fades into this:
Then that color fades into this:
Only the white area on her neck has normal looking square checkers. As the color bleeds the checkers starting looking more like smudges.
Been a while but Sigyn has had a name change. It's now, Sigurd. Because, Sigurd is a boy! He stayed small for a long time. Too big to pop but too small for any of my probes. So this summer he was big enough to probe and now I have a male. Makes figuring out what he is much more easy.
I finally got a picture of the checkers on his neck where there is no color wash. Where the color wash is you can only see the dark spots. But he does have yellow checkers. Though they look weird too.
