Snake Bites

Kings are notorious "NOMS"

i have four kings and all but one will take a bite and not let go. i have a few pics to share, youre not the only one (to the OP) :) haha

this usually happens to me when i pick them up to clean their tubs ._________.
the lavender banana albino is the worst offender who actually SWALLOWED part of my finger before i could find some rubbing alcohol to dab on his nose.. ive tried getting him off by blowing on him (he latches on tighter) and running cold water on him... his name is thor. >;3 my MBK does it as well... shes alot bigger.

i have 2 kings but the other one is so tame. all he does is stick his head out of hide like a periscope on a submarine and as soon as i come near he whizzes back into his hide. But the other king is a right pain and follows my movements everywhere like im a giant pinky that she believes can fit in her greedy belly. but all snakes have a different personality and i appreciate every single one of them otherwise snakes would all be the same and boring (except for their morphs)

I've never been bit yet but Ive done research on it. Just in case. I've read that you should dilute listerine and water 50/50 in a spray bottle and always keep it on hand just in case. Diluted wont cause harm to them. I wouldn't recommend dabbing full strength listerine on a cloth cuz it could mess up their eyes if done that way. I keep the 50/50 mixture in a bottle in the terrarium stand for accidental bites. I just hope I never have to actually use it. I've been nipped before but that photo definitely looks like it thinks your hand is a mouse. Lol.
