Snake went "blue"

SHAKSNAKE

The crappy keeper!
once a snake "goes blue" how long until they finally shed?

i noticed my snake went blue friday. could have been thursday. just wana know an estimate from an expirienced breeder, thanks!

Usually they have the cloudy eyes for a few days and then a few days after those clear up, they will shed.

a 5-7 days of blue, then about 2 days after it clears its eyes it will shed.. Correct if im wrong

Well, I'm not an "experienced breeder" but once they go blue, it's usually 1-2 weeks before they shed.

Depends how old/big they are. Hatchlings take a few days, adult-sized ones can take one or two weeks, as has been said.

yeah its been 3 days since i noticed and his eyes already cleared up! so hopefully by tonight or tomorrow he sheds.

Cyrus has always gone blue for 3 days and then shed 3 days after he clears up. This last shed he seemed to be blue for 4 days and then shed 4 days after he cleared. Now, I had family in town so he didn't have my undivided attention so I am not 100% on the 4/4 shed cycle. I think it just may depend on the snakey. I think there are definately averages, but a certainty I think us unlikely!!

yeah its been 2 days since he cleared up, still havent found anything. i guess he might shed tomorrow!

make sure u got a lil humidity so he sheds perfectly, u don't want to find a corn with a bad shed :/ I usually mist the aspen a tiny bit and keep the heat up a lil so they basically slither out of it lol.

he had his complete shed tonight! im glad it went smooth! @reptojam yeah i usually misted the tank like twice a day. but its all over now! i get to play with my snake again! hahaha
