Who was the other painter on PBS, he was an older gentleman, the show aired in the 80's. He used to paint with a huge 5 inch brush and a spatula? He would have these huge mountain scapes in the background, and would always say beautiful as he painted.

Gosh, I remember his technique to this day. He would paint the canvas with White first, with the large brush. And then come down with the Blue next for the sky. Then start to add the mountains with the spatula.

I remember that gentleman, and that show, too. Have been googling and can't find him. But I bet I can. I have friends that work at Louisiana Public Broadcasting who'd probably remember him.

I also am fascinated by sea horses. Excellent choice, Susan. Have numerous Leafy Sea Dragon pics. Most too big for attaching.
 
His name is Bob Ross and the show was The Joy of Painting. I grew up watching it at my Mamaw's house.
