So I did the Classic (Het Orange Thing) X Classic (Het Kastanie) and it appears there are Hypo Kastanies or OT's in the clutch?

Same thing? Or Alleles?

I only know a little history behind kastanie, mahogany, and sunrise, but given how new they all are it seems to me that they are more likely to be identical mutations rather than distinct alleles of the same gene? Maybe they are just heavily influenced by polygenic effects, leading them to appear superficially different until they are intercrossed with each other for a couple generations? Sunrise has such a distinct phenotype when combined with amel, vs amel kastanies, so you should be able to figure it out with some potentially tedious intercrosses, should you care to do so.

I think it'll be worth figuring out. Since I've already done so much work with them already I might as well finish it right?
WOW! I miss 2 pages of amazing stuff. Love the paradox!

Haha Thanks!!!!

Yeah, I suspect mahogany and kastanie are the same thing, so that leaves Kastanie, sunrise, and orange thing. You'd probably have to test sunrise vs kastanie on an amel background, since the difference between sunrise amels and mandarins is pretty distinct.

I believe so too. Some work will definitely continue on these!
