Strange lavender motley progresssion.

Wow! What a change. She also looks like she has a pretty decent hurricane pattern as well. What a lovely example of the morph.

I was surprised mostly about how her pattern as well as her colouration progressed and changed :)

I think her looks are getting better with age!

As always stunning pictures, you camera junkie, lol.

Thanks,

Connor

Thanks dude! :)

How funny that she starts out looking like a normal lav motley, then progresses to this insane peachy thing, then ends looking more like a normal lav motley again. She's like the Corn version of the horse of a different color! How awesome that metamorphosis must've been to watch. She's still lovely!

It was lovely to watch indeed, but I miss her baby colours sooooooooo much.

The last photo needs a title...something along the line of "I DO Give a Rat's A$$!"

LMAO I shall have to make a caption of that!

How the heck did I miss this thread in the past?! Elle, I'm so jealous of all your snakes but this one is absolutely positively GORGEOUS!!!!

Thank you measley!

Wow, she's really changed! Funny how she still has some of the baby color on her head, eh? She's still a stunning snake! One of the prettiest lav-mots I've ever seen!

More change. She is a cold slate lavender colour now, still with that silly big peach head. She has the most perfect hurricane motley pattern, so despite losing her baby colours, she is at least still a stellar example of that pattern mutation. I will get artsy fartsy shots of her soon...

Thanks Susie. I'll get some well lit shots of her on a classy or interesting background when I have a few hours to set things up properly and shoot for a while. I hate box shots, it's like no effort or consideration has been put into making that snake look the best it can for the image. Just my opinion though LOL. I'm a horrible hypocrite!

She's so pretty! I just went through her entire progression and WOW! what a change! I did like her pinkyness, but still think her slate/purple/gray is super beautiful. I love how colorful her head is!

What a change!!! She's definitely started to look more like a "normal" lavender something... Although I'd still bet there's something else going on too. Is she already big enough for the first test breeding? Can't wait to hear the result. Should I put my money on betting there's Dilute involved or not...? What a dilemma... ;)

Daing, Elle. What a color change from Hamm to an adult! Tells me all the more I'd need an experienced accomplice in picking out a hatchling lavender.
She is beautiful.

You know I just finished reading through this entire thread. I felt like I read a sad story or watched a sad movie. It tells of a youngster who starts out average in beauty, then in his prime is stunningly gorgeous beyond the reality of what the eyes can see, finally to older more mature adult with his greys and experience. I must completely applaud this entire thread as it has inspired me.

Thank you and a spectacular cornsnake!

She is stunning, in ever meaning of the word! I especially love her eyes.. They look glittery. Almost starry. Gorgeous!

Well, looks like Joe really called it!

She appears to still have a nice pinky tint though, and that head! I'm impressed that she lost all of the yellow on her neck.

Any plans for her this season?

Elle, what a beautiful snake!

I just got through reading this whole thread. Again.
I think my personal favorite "look" is the 1-15-10 photo (post #143) forward to even now.
Thanks for the update, Elle.

Hey Jessica! I have plans for her yeah, but whether she cooperates is a different story lol. Shes consistantly plays hard to get :(

Thanks Eric :) I know you like your yellows and oranges, so baby Dior probably appeals to you more. I prefered her as a youngster as well in all honesty, but I still think shes a beautiful lass no matter what.
