What beautiful babies! The only trouble I see is that you won't know for sure whether the stripes are homo or het blood without test breeding them, since the parents are normals. I have 3 striped males with a bloodred father I need to prove out myself.

If both parents of these kids were proven bloods, then they would definately be bloods.
If I were you, I would keep back all the stripes, and get a few bloodreds with no striped gene in them to test them out. If the resulting offspring are 100% bloodreds, then your stripes would prove to be homo blood.

Those are awesome. Will the striping fade as the baby gets older as the bloodred's saddles do?

Yeah i know ;)
But sometimes it's just obvious..
There are 3 normal stripeds in this clutch which have thick, strait stripeds and normal coloring, 1 amel cubed which is VERY red but shows normal markings, 1 amel striped that is just diffused all-over and you can't hardly see the striping of, 1 normal striped that is VERY diffused with a very thin, vague striping and an almost blue/grey head coloring especially above the eyes, then there are two newly hatched normal stripeds that show some pattern and color diffusion aswell as a somewhat vague, wavy striping.. I'm not sure wether these are het. bloods or female striped bloods..

Sure, i will test them out, but one plus one still is two ;)

Here are some pics of the last two stripeds in the clutch.

Btw, what is the chance of there being three normal fires in the clutch? There are...

Oh, I know. My 3 untested boys absolutely look bloodred and fire stripe. But...there is still that doubt until I know for sure!

The last four eggs have hatched, looks like there is another striped fire in there and another fire..
The "normal" striped looks interesting too..
Looks like i will be having a lot more keepers this year LOL
