Stuffed Fuzzies anyone??

OK I need Honesty here! Am I the only one who has stuffed a f/t/mousie w/ a broken tail or leg or two?? Well I did tonight! I was at the end of the bag of fuzzies & saw some tails & legs missing so I put them in the fuzzies mouth & Banana & Little Dani gobbled them down! For some reason I did not want to waste them. I also was thinking that the missing tail or leg could be good nutrition they weren't getting. Anyway, just thought I'd ask if anyone else has stuffed a Mouse...lol
I should've taken a photo..lol :eek1: YIKES!

Haven't done that....but then I don't buy in bulk, but just what I need for a few weeks as I have a local supplier and he packs the mice nice a neat in paper and then in a bag so they don't get broken up very easily. It can't hurt them...just a little more calcium.

:rofl:You really should have got photos! I've not had that problem except with pinkies, and I just throw the random body-parts away. Fuzzies upwards don't tend to be so fragile, but if any bits do break off I shall remember your solution!

Yes, I think you are the first person to do this! When I pick out pinks to thaw for the three different babies, I want different sizes, but they still all look the same, so I remember which pink goes to which snake by the arrangement of missing limbs! Last night Lily got a quadruple amputee...

LOL! The missing legs do kill me when I pull one out. I will be ordering up this next time. They come packaged grt. Its just when I start repacking them. *or accidentally drop the bag* I need one of those resealer thingy's Rich got at the grocery store. I still haven't looked. That way I can seal (air tight) by how many I need at a feeding. I still have pinks also cause Shine (caliking) is only 9g.

When I was stuffing I was thinking of a Thanksgivin' Turkey...lol :roflmao:

I got one of those little handheld vacuum sealers that are like 10$ at the supermarket. Love that thing lol

Confession time: I've done it in the past... I've also sliced the tummy and stuffed the little parts in there.

After getting my leopard gecko, I started giving Steve the little 'extras' left at the end of the bag. I've got him pretty trained to take food out of my fingers, and he'll take them even if they aren't moving. I figure it's a nice treat for him.

I have stuffed both little bits of anole tail and toe into pinky mouths before. My little pueblan milk started feeding for me on that mix..

I tried to think if I have ever done it. I think I just throw the left overs away. But I rarely get any now that I have that resealler thingy! :p

It is called Reynolds Handi-Vac. It was in the aisle with plastic sandwich bags at my grocery store. Cost $10, works great.

Rich I've seen the commercials. It looks pretty cool! I'll let ya know when I get it. Need to write it down on my grocery list. :dancer: lol
