Sunglow = no white Amel
I think that leaves a little to be desired. After all they are Sun”Glows”. Shouldn’t they be very saturated with color and be very shinny and bright? I am not sure that I would put all borderless Amels in the Sunglow category, just like I would not put all Amels with white in the Candy Cane category.
Can they be any color of Amel that is borderless without white? Can they have a yellow background color with red blotches? (Hey that would be cool) How about a red background color with darker red blotches like this Amel that I have? I know he has some white that disqualifies him, but what if he didn’t?( I am making Amel Bloods out of him!) The Motley in the photo with him would qualify as a Sunglow to most.
When I think of a Sunglow, they are very brightly colored and very saturated with ORANGE and should be two shades of orange, not red or yellow. I have seen some pretty dull looking borderless Amels that I wouldn’t think should be included in with Sunglows.
I think I would be pretty disappointed if I ordered a Sunglow and got a dull, looking Red and orange looking thing that was borderless, and therefore had no white and = “Sunglow“. I think a Sunglow is more than just an Amel without white. To me that definition just means a borderless Amel. A Sunglow is suppose to mean something special, like a Candy Cane is suppose to be something special and not just a run of the mill red and white Corn.
