Sunglow Stripe

BTW Keegan says that he wants her to come over for a visit.;)

Amels shed pigment free skin (with, &/or without, Hypo in the mix).

Keegan may get lucky yet!:noevil:

Thanks for the info about amel sheds. You learn something new every day!!

What is a hypo?

Hypomelanistic (Hypo) maybe part of her genetics. She is amelanistic and there is a good chance that she is Hypo, due to the fact that she is so brightly colored.

There are many good reference books about genetics. Kathy Love, Don Soderberg, Charle Pritzel (Cornsnake Morph Guide - which includes breeding shortcuts)

Hope that helps :)

Hypo in amels is hard to tell, to say the least!

My sunglow Tabasco seems hypo-ish to me, but bred to a ghost he made anerys (wow, turned out he had a hidden het) and normals. No ghosts, although some of the anery's are really bright. So I'm guessing he isn't hypo.

I'll have to go and see Tabasco. :sidestep:
