A creamsicle is an amelanistic cross between an Emory's or Great Plains rat snake (two names for the same snake) and a corn snake. That technically makes him a hybrid. If you know he is a creamsicle, you can call him a creamsicle corn snake. The Great Plains rat snake was until recently considered a subspecies of corn snake so they are very, very closely related to corn snakes. Was he sold to you as an amel or a creamsicle? I would bet he is whatever he was sold to you as.
