Tessera Club!! Post Yours Too!!

They're all so beautiful!! I just have one question. What exactly is a tessera?i think it's a corn snake.I know there are all different kinds of corns, like anerys and snows, but other than that, not much.

A tessera is a newer morph, which is a dominate trait instead of recessive like the rest of the morphs, at least that I've heard of. There are threads showing them, so look in those to see what they look like.

Thanks Chip! :laugh01: I forgot which thread I was in. Sigh, back to the corner with the dunce cap.:headbang: :crying: :dunce:

Three Anery Tesseras we bred this year.

I'm so excited I'm joining the Tessera club already! Walter Smith has an amazing sale on Tesseras, so I picked up this little girl today. She's "just" a normal, but she's het for caramel and stripe, so she'll make some gorgeous babies.

Meet Cloisonne, so named because her pattern reminds me of cloisonne jewelry (we call her Chloe for short). Opened the cup she came in to put her in her new home, and she was all "hands are cool" and crawled up my roommate's arm. What a sweetie!

Also, Jasmine helped us prepare Chloe's tank.

Those Amel Tessera's are gorgeous and now I'm wanting one. Personally I don't like the darker tessera's but those Amel's are stunning.

Lmao everytime I get Rapunzel out of her cage I have to be quick or our cat Schroedinger tries jumping inside the tank and soaking his feet in her water bowl. The first time it was cute but after that it was just irksome.

Alright, I finally have some pics to post of my tesseras.

This first guy is a het sunkissed and 50% ph caramel.
