It's Jager time!
If you participate in the DYK thread you will know that we have been contemplating/organising an international CS.COM lollipop swap for all of us that need cheering up and a bit of sticky sweetness in our lives. And of course it's just a bit of random fun to bring us all a little closer together as a community.

Heres how it works, Anyone who wants to contribute to the first part of the lollipop heres the requirements.

Part 1

You must live in the UK/Europe.

You must be willing to contirbute to the lollipop collection ie send a couple of funky lollies to me. You may include additional sweeties if you like :)

The collection period will be two weeks. You must send all lollies to me and then I will package them all up to send to our international friends.

You must PM me after the "sign up" period to aquire my address.

Part 2 - International requirements:

For those participating in the USA/internationally you must find a volunteer to be the main lollipop collector.

You must gather all lollies/sweeties within 2 weeks and send them to your lollipop collector.

Part 3

You must then send all international lollipops to my adress and I will then pick my favorite couple of lollipops and pass the bag onto the next person in the UK. They will pick out a few of their favs and pass onto the next person and so on and so forth.

The same "rules" apply to the reciever of the international lollipop swap package.

We are aiming for around 100 lollipops from each side!

If you wish to participate you must reply to this thread. Please do not reply if you do not wish to take on the responsibility of passing the bag along (this includes shipping costs). We will hunt any lollipop hoggers down, and karma will most likley come back to haunt you.

I will allow one week to gather all names. You have until sunday the 2nd of November to decide whether you are in or out. I will then PM everyone who wishes to participate for final confirmation and to recieve addresses etc.

We need at least 10 people from each side to participate if possible :)

If there is any confusion put forward any questions of this thread. The name collection starts now. We will worry about the second part of the swap when we come to it!
 
Just a thought, would it not be better to have two packages sent from the UK, as that would cut the shipping cost a little (less weight in each package), going to two different places in the US. It would mean the lollies would be moved around faster and would probably mean less shipping cost to those participants in the US too?
 
I'm so definitely in, and I volunteer to send a bag of lollies to Elle or Sue to be passed on to our UK friends!
 
Oh and btw another compulsary rule of the lollipop swap 2008 is we need a picture of you eating one of the lollipops! ​

I'm not sure if that should be compulsary, but it would be nice to see the lollies at different places on their journey, like out at Fort Tort, if Nanci wants to take part, or with members snakes if they don't want to post piccies of themselves :)

LOL it's not necessary but it would make it even more fun ;)

But lollipops with forum snakes would be just as awesome!
 
So is each participant from each side sending one, or sending one for each on the other side? Or are we just throwing in a random handful/ whatever we've got?
 
wow elle! you guys moved fast! I was away from the computer for only a couple of hours and it's all set!!

In the DYK thread, I had offered to be one of the US senders and that offer still stands!!!
 
I'm definitely in, who do I send my address to for the US side? And how do I get theirs to send lollipops to them?
