The "Beast" babies are pipping!!!

bekers71

What addiction?!
Well one is any way. Funny too because the one pipping is the smallest egg. Oh well, just as long as some thing is hatching.

Today is day 65 of incubation and I thought it would never get here. I was told the parents might be het amel. Guess we'll see.

Congratulations! Why do you call them "The Beast?"

Thanks!

LOL We call them the beast because they are friggen huge! The male in that pic is 1280 grams and the female is a little over 1100 grams and they are only 2 1/2 yrs old. :eek1: This is the pair that we think are a cross between a black ratsnake and a corn.

Congratulations Becky, that's a nice thing to see when you open the incubation box, isn't it? I don't think anything beats seeing the first pippy of the clutch, because it proves you've been doing something right :)

Keep us posted on the progress and more pictures please when they're out :D

Thanks Sue! And I will defiantly put up more pics. :)

Wooohooo... congrads!! Looking forward to seeing the wee beasties when they are out :)

Thanks Ginger! I can't wait either. Makes me wonder how they go from being so small to as big as they get. :)

This one looks promising! I saw a cute little albino eye, so I guess the amel hets have been proven! :crazy02:

I was thinking quite the opposite. I call my guy a beast just because he is so small. :)

Anyhow, congrats on the proven hets, and I really look forward to more pictures!

If it's alright with you I'd like to pull up your old thread when you first got the parents and post their adult pics and the babies. Just let me know. :)

Congrats! I can't wait to see them fully out of their eggs!

Thanks Pat. I will put up more pics as time goes on. :)

Well today we still have only the 3 pippies. I have a feeling some are going to take their sweet time coming out. That's how my luck goes. LOL

By all means, Feel free Becky.

But are you sure the normals, aren't "Anerythristics"

And by the way my wifes birthday is on the 10th, so that may be what the others are waiting for.
