The "Beast" babies are pipping!!!

Don't let that face fool ya, she got me 3 times.

They are beautiful! That snow almost reminds me of the black rat amel gene, I'm pretty sure they're more pink like that. Maybe you have both amel genes in the mix.

Hey that is a good point! Thanks a lot for bringing that up. For some reason it had completely slipped my mind about the amel gene in black rats. Maybe that is why the amels have such a funky color to them. :crazy02:

I'm gonna have to copy Gene ;)

WOW!

Those head patterns are killers, all those babies are stunning!

Can't wait for post shed pics as well :)

Thanks Sue! Talk about head patterns, this one reminds me of the bloodreds.

Well there are only 2 left now.

Nice babies Becky! I love mixed clutches, always a surprise! And given their size and background they will probably be great eaters. Now for the hard question, how do you convince buyers that snow is a hybrid? The adults are pretty obvious and so are some of the babies. Even the light Amels might be called Hybinos but that snow is a tough one. Of course you could just keep them all? :crazy02:

LOL Terri. Don't think I'll have to worry about explaining the snow. Seeing as how he is the only one, he's on the keeper list. I wish I could keep them all.

My first hateling! He bit me and didn't let go, even rattles his little tail. It was so cute.

Anery 11 grams

Guess he's guarding the last sibling to come out. LOL

Now that one does look anery, so it will be interesting to see what you get out of the "snow" in the future. I really like these babies!

Thank you both. So far it's come down to keeping the snow, the last anery and a female amel. So far..LOL

Theres one little amel left with it's nose poking out. Can't wait to see what this one looks like.

Thanks Jay and Kim!

Well the last one finally decided to make and appearance early this afternoon. For some reason I had a hard time getting the color right on this one so I did some with and with out flash.

This one is very laid back and curious. No matter where I put my hand it would crawl right up on me.

Thank you every one for your kind comments and sticking with me through the hatching. I will post pics of all 10 once they have shed in the photo gallery.

Congrats again Becky, they all look gorgeous and I look forward to the post shed pics too :D

You should use that last photo, the one with the scale, when new members ask about what sort of scale to get :)

Congrats on all the great looking large babies! I really like that last amel, he's such a cutie :0)
