The "Beast" babies are pipping!!!

Wow, number 6 is awesome! I love the pattern! Such neat looking babies, I'm suprised more weren't fiesty. Almost all of my babies were hatelings, but I love it.They think they're so tough!

hey, how did you tell if your snakes were a boy or a girl?

I pop mine. But I do not recommended attempting this method of sexing except by a vet or other experienced person that knows what they are doing. Popping can cause harm to you snake.

somebody said something about the tail. Can you tell by looking at the tail? Because i could post a picture of the underside of the snake if that would help. Thanks

From what I understand, the way the tail is shaped past the cloaca can be used to recognize sex. Females' tails become much more narrow immediately, while males' tails have more of a gradual shape as you go towards the end of the tail. I double - checked this info before posting so I wouldn't give you bad info.
In Philip Purser's "Corn & Rat Snakes" it states:

"...the tail tapers shortly after the vent in females, while the tail tapers only gradually in males. Also, the overall length of the tail is shorter in females than in males."

I still can't wait to see the post shed pictures. *taps foot* "hurry up wee beasties"

Try to be patient Kim. Yeah right! Hurry up already! LOL

A couple are still blue but most are out of blue stage and should she any time now. Even as hatchlings they are still driving me nutty.

Congrats! I know its been said but those guys are monsters!

lol only a true snake-lover would say that
