A little confusion
I hadn't caught up on this thread in a while so I just now saw the whole suspension stuff that happened. Now, while I agree that CS seemed to be going out of the way to cause problems, I just want to point out that in all fairness, the "god hates figs" thing wasn't a Westboro thing. It was actually pro gay rights. That person and sign were at the Rally to Restore Sanity walk on DC run by John Stewart and Stephen Colbert. I know because I was there and saw that person and sign and I recognize the background. I realize that doesn't change the situation, I'm just saying it's not fair to say he was posting Westboro stuff

Oh and a little info about the quote and I swear I won't bring it up again (Jesus got mad that figs weren't in season and forbids the eating of figs forever):

In the bible quote. Figs could of meant many different things but it could just be meant about figs.
The picture was taken out of context and presented here in way to cause issues, nothing more nothing less. He did it on purpose. I was never confused about the picture.

There were many many layers to that individual's expulsion, he had Westboro images in there too. This was a small tip of the iceberg. He made his bed over the course of numerous threads. He made his choice to defy the mods after being given a chance to stop his behavior and the mods did the right thing by stopping him.
Anyway, moving on.

I have nothing against his expulsion, just from the responses it seemed like people thought he was posting anti-gay stuff. I guess if he did those posts were removed? Anyways, I'm not defending him, I just don't think that that picture in particular was inflammatory. In general, I guess it's just best to just not post religious, political, or practically nude photos of people, or foul language just to be on the safe side and not offend anyone.
