THE "STILLMAN CORN"

I know, I was hoping for something too! Usually with egg incubation problems the babies show the odd patterns at hatching. It was quite strange how the original babies (Stillmans) started off normal looking and with each shed the blotches started to separate in the middle to form the "twin spots". It would have been awesome to have another pattern to breed into all the color morphs out there.

Nope. I abandon the project after raising the f1s and breeding them together with no results.
Thanks for inquiring!

If it is recessive then you had 25 % chans to get a stillman.

If I were you I would breed the stilman corn to a daughter.
If there is a daughter with just about any kind of pattern anomality (like zigzag), then I'd breed that one back to the stillman corn.
Father to daughter is a 50% chans if it is recessive.

Iv'e thought about that and might try it this coming breeding season if I can get a hold of the "Stillman" corn again.
